Klip Lock 700

A Concealed fix profile offering a wider cover width than Klip-Lok 406, providing quicker installation.

Klip-Lok 700 is manufactured in continuous lengths with on-site rolling for sheet lengths in excess of transportable limits.

Klip-Lok 700 is available in certified galvanised steel(ISQ 550 (3T)), pre-painted colour one/two sides 55% Aluminium Alloy coated steel and Aluminium mill finish or with Hulamin colour coated one/two sides

Materials
The roofing / side-cladding shall be Klip-Lok 700 profile roll-formed in continuous lengths and must be light industrial / heavy industrial with a galvanised finish of Z275 or with finish to one or both sides.

The Profile
The Profile are notched around ribs where necessary and fixed on S10 clips. All these operations must be performed with special tools available from the supplier.

Assembly
The Klip-Lok 700 sheets shall be fixed to every purlin by means of patented KL700 clips having spurs which will securely hold the sheets in position and lock-in the sidelap and both centre ribs. The KL700 clips shall be manufactured from Galvanized steel and shall be fixed to the steel purlin with three cadmium plated tek 3 no 10, 24 x 16mm long self-drilling/tapping screws or with NA2 annular nails to timber purlins. Every precaution shall be taken to prevent damage to roof sheets during all stages of construction. Duck boards should be used when necessary to protect the sheeting from damage. Sheeting which has become deformed or damaged in any way, shall be replaced.

Flashings
Flashings shall be fixed to the sheeting with S10 clips to obviate any direct fixing perforations. Prior to flashings being fixed, all troughs at the apex shall be stop-ended to the full depth of the sheet in order to prevent any penetration of wind driven water. The trough shall be lipped at the eaves end to form a drip. Flashing flanges shall be notched to the sheet profile where necessary. Care shall be taken to ensure that no sheeting or flashing will be cut with abrasive disc on roof surface in order to prevent steel spatter from penetrating colour coated areas. The flashings shall be supplied in a galvanised spelter or with a paint finish.

Quality and assurance
The manufacturer shall be assessed and certified as complying with ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System.

Guarantee
Klip-Lok 700 sheeting shall be laid in strict accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications by an approved contractor.
